SECURE BIRTH EXPERIENCE
I had my first baby via scheduled C-section at Mediclinic Kloof. I was very unprepared but the staff guided me through everything. They explained everything I needed to know and after my three-day stay I was fully equipped to handle my newborn at home. Staff took over when things became too much and did so very gracefully. They were amazingly good at their jobs and I felt very safe, secure and listened to. Amazing care, and if I do have another baby I’ll definitely be returning to Mediclinic Kloof. Wonderful experience.

COMFORTABLE STAY
I was in the surgical ward at Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg in November last year, and despite the unfortunate reason for being there, I had a very comfortable stay and was cared for by pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable doctors, nursing staff, carers, as well as catering staff. I also loved the flexible visiting hours! Special thanks to Dr Christien Steenkamp, general surgeon; Dr Manti Makakole, plastic and reconstructive surgeon; and Dr Gareth Horsten, anaesthetist, who were all attentive and had excellent bedside manners.

CARE FOR BODY AND MIND
I had an exceptional experience at Mediclinic Sandton. I can only send a huge thank you to all the staff, from the administrators to the healthcare workers, for going above and beyond to make my stay so comfortable and pleasant – at a time when I needed surgery and was also struggling with my mental health. The admission process was seamless. I had an excellent radiology team and two world-class surgeons who took the time to answer all my questions and advocate for me. The nurses were attentive, kind and experienced; the cleaning staff friendly and efficient. Overall, I am just so grateful to everyone at Mediclinic Sandton who ensured I had the best possible care for my physical and mental health.
